Hemodialysis patients are at high risk for developing infections. Learn effective strategies for preventing infection in acute, chronic, and home hemodialysis settings. This course provides resources and checklists to assist in the development of an infection prevention plan.

Course evaluations will be availablein your online training meny upon completion of the course. All course-related evaluations must be completed within 30 days of course completion. After satisfying all evaluation requirements, a certificate of completion will be available to print and/or for your records indicating CEUs.

Technical Requirements
APIC Online Education Center online learning courses are accessed through a web browser. The web browser you use must accept cookies, run Adobe Flash, and run JavaScript. To check if your browser does these things, visit this page to run a test.
 
APIC courses require a computer that runs Windows XP (or later), has Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 (or later), and Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 (or later). 
 
Apple OS X users need to use a browser that runs JavaScript, Adobe Flash, and has the Adobe PDF Reader installed.
 
Note: Devices running iOS (like iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches) are not able to display course content at this time, due to Flash restrictions on iOS.
