MRSA - APIC’s Guide to Elimination in Hospital Settings

September 9, 2008
1:00 PM - Eastern

MRSA continues to be an issue in healthcare settings.  It has attracted the attention of legislators, as well as patients and healthcare workers.  The APIC Guide to the Elimination of MRSA in Hospital Settings is a document designed to assist the Infection Preventionist in managing this serious problem.  While there is no single approach that will work for all facilities, there are specific steps that will help the Infections Preventionist organize and implement a successful program in her/his facility.  This webinar will provide the opportunity for Infection Preventionists to review the critical aspects of development and implementation of a MRSA Elimination Program.
