2006 MRSA Conference

Second Annual APIC/JCR/Joint Commission Infection Prevention and Control Conference: "Managing MRSA: A Call to Action"

Cambridge, MA - August 14-16, 2006

The rapid spread of drug-resistant bacteria known as methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus or MRSA was the focus of a three-day discussion to examine best practices to combat this growing problem.

Experts from the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), Joint Commission Resources (JCR), and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations met with infection prevention and control leaders and other health care professionals to study this critical issue.

Participants may continue the conversation through participation in the Managing MRSA Community.  This community provides a venue for the continuing exchange of ideas among conference participants.  Participation in this community is limited to conference registrants.  You must login to access this community.
