The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has released a funding announcement calling for grant applications to conduct Large Research Projects that propose to advance the base of knowledge for detection, prevention, reduction and effective management of HAIs. In addition, the agency is calling for applications to conduct Health Services Research Demonstration and Dissemination Projects that propose to address strategies and approaches for prevention, reduction and effective management of HAIs.
