APIC provided comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on CMS's proposed changes to the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) for calendar year 2013 and the ESRD Quality Incentive Program (QIP) for payment years (PY) 2014 and 2015. APIC's comments addressed a number of issues, including support for CMS's decision not to add new measures relevant to infection prevention and control for PY 2015.
