A new law enacted in Delaware extends the state's Hospital Infections Disclosure Act to dialysis centers, freestanding surgical centers, long-term care facilities, and psychiatric facilities. However, these facilities would only be required to report HAIs if called for by the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) with the concurrence of the Hospital Acquired Infections Advisory Committee.
