APIC provided feedback on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee's draft compounding pharmacy legislation. The draft legislation is meant to clarify the Food and Drug Administration's regulatory authority over compounding pharmacies. Congress held a series of hearings on the issue following the 2012 fungal meningitis outbreak.
